Native Voices is a collection of stories from Indigenous People in various tribes. These are our stories of hope and healing. We are a work of God in progress, and hope to be an encouragement by sharing what we are learning and overcoming. Together we can equip the next generation in our own native communities.

Byron Sarracino – Laguna Pueblo
Byron Sarracino is from the Laguna Pueblo in Northwest New Mexico. Byron shares a moving testimony of growing up on the reservation and finding hope while serving in the Armed Forces. He is currently residing on the Laguna Pueblo.

Franklin Gilbert – San Carlos Apache Nation
As a young person, Franklin Gilbert was searching for acceptance and significance in this life. It wasn’t until he came to know the Lord personally that he realized that only God can give meaning to life. Franklin wants to share with you that this world doesn’t offer much, but Jesus Christ offers eternal life, eternal joy, and an eternal home!

Lorna Rope shares how she found the way of escape from addictions and family strife!
Rhonda Juarez – Choctaw Nation
Rhonda Juarez endured hardship throughout her life and thought that things would get easier once she got right with the Lord. As she found out, that isn’t necessarily the case. However, she found that resting and trusting in God was the path forward. She daily prepares her heart and mind with the Word of God. The armor of God from Ephesians 6 has been a key Scripture for her as she grows in her walk with the Lord!
